The board rebuilds every morning from the previous day's games, across a researched universe of several hundred players chosen by stated rules. Selectivity is the point: the desk covers the players it can say something about, and every player shows why he qualified. When the desk hasn't covered someone, his page says so rather than pretending research exists.

Morning Signal is the research desk's morning edition: one to three developments that cleared the editorial bar overnight, each with the reason it qualified. Never padded to three, and on a morning when nothing clears the bar, there is no edition at all.

Nine Signal measures what has happened on the field, from public data, by stated rules. It is not a scouting service and it does not promise outcomes. Here is exactly what it does.

Rules you can read. Players enter the researched universe on age-for-level, performance at that level, and recent signals, and every player shows the reason he qualified. No research on a player? His page says so.Data
